That puts life into perspective, doesn’t it? This is the time of year to be thankful for many things…family, friends, health, freedom, beautiful mountains, wonderful food, but it all pales in comparison to “I get to live.”
We all have friends or family that have gone through or are in the midst of something horrible and life changing. Sadly, too many of them don’t always make it through the battle. As I get older, I miss many people who used to be part of the holiday—great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, and friends. But, I’m thankful for all that I have and this year especially, I’m thankful for my friend and another relative just finishing treatment who both get to live.
What are you thinking about this Thanksgiving and what are you thankful for?
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving and fun times with family and friends.
